Your Questions Answered

Why are you seeking monthly donations?

We are thankful for every gift—both one-time and recurring. Each one helps families access the care they desperately need. Monthly donations are especially vital because medical needs often arise suddenly and without warning. When a child arrives in crisis, we must be ready to respond immediately with help in accessing treatment. Steady monthly support gives us the flexibility to meet urgent needs the moment they arise and ensures that no child is left waiting for care. Your commitment also allows us to reduce fundraising costs and devote more of our time and resources to caring for the sick and suffering in Jesus’ name.

What percentage of my donation actually goes to support the program?

Faith Aid does not take any percentage of your gift for administrative costs. After third-party processing fees, 100% of your donation goes directly to the program. Because we keep overhead low, your gift makes an immediate and direct impact in the lives of sick children.

I can’t give monthly, but I would still like to give. What should I do?

Every gift makes a difference. Whether it’s $10, $25, or $175, your generosity helps provide life-saving medical care. Some treatments cost less, others much more—but together, your gift combines with others to ensure that every child in need receives help. Give at the level that feels right for you—you’ll still be part of God’s provision for children in crisis.

Why $175?

$175 is the average cost to provide urgent medical care for one sick child through the Pediatric Compassion Fund. Some children require medicines, others need diagnostic tests or extended hospital stays—and while costs vary, this is what it typically takes to ensure a child receives the treatment they need. When you think about the size of U.S. medical bills and the intense level of care many of these children require, the impact of your gift is remarkable. For just $175 a month, you can help save a child’s life.

How is my monthly gift matched?

Generous donors have committed special matching funds so that every new monthly gift is doubled. That means if you give $175 each month, an additional $175 will be given on your behalf—providing care for two children instead of one. Matching gifts multiply your impact and allow even more sick children to receive the urgent medical treatment they need.

What if I need to cancel my monthly donation?

You are always in control of your giving. If your circumstances change, you can adjust or cancel your monthly donation at any time through our portal—no questions asked. Of course, every month you are able to give helps a child receive urgent medical care, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership for as long as you are able.
