Faith Aid Compassion Funds Support Record 250 Patients During First Six Months of 2025
In sub-Saharan Africa, limited access to safe and effective medical care is a profound humanitarian crisis that demands urgent action. At Faith Aid, we welcome the sick and suffering in Jesus’ name—helping impoverished patients access life-saving treatment at Christian mission hospitals.
We seek to follow Christ in His ministry to the sick and suffering. In the Parable of the Sheep and the Goats, Jesus commends those who cared for the needy, saying, “I was sick and you looked after me” (Matthew 25:36). In the Parable of the Good Samaritan, He illustrates what love in action looks like: “He went to him and bandaged his wounds” (Luke 10:34).
Faith Aid raises funds from generous partners to support the care of impoverished patients in Kenya, implementing robust processes grounded in Biblical stewardship. By providing grants to Christian mission hospitals for the care of impoverished patients, we supply a critical source of revenue—enabling these hospitals to deliver the best possible care for the poor while continuing to serve their communities with excellence and compassion.
The year 2025 has been a defining chapter for us—a journey filled with compassion, hope, and healing. In just six months, over 250 patients have received support through our compassion funds. These patients faced serious health challenges, including cardiac problems, orthopedic injuries, critical pediatric cases, neurosurgical emergencies, and renal failure.
Thanks to the generous contributions of our supporters, more than $80,000 has been disbursed in medical aid. Every gift has meant a second chance at life. This milestone is not just about numbers—it’s about every life lifted, every family supported, and every patient restored. From the very first case to today, each story fuels our commitment to serve even more in the name of Christ.
At the beginning, the journey was exhausting and heartbreaking. We spent all the money we had, but our son was not getting better. We would never be able to afford the surgery he needed. We prayed for a breakthrough, and Faith Aid was a miracle for us. They walked alongside us for months and paid for my son’s treatment. To this day, I am still overwhelmed that the Lord answered our prayers. When I was first told that my son Barren had hydrocephalus and had to undergo a neurosurgery, I knew there was no way I could afford it. Where would I get the money? When we arrived at the hospital, Barren could not walk or talk. But a doctor from the U.S. contributed to support my son, and Faith Aid paid for Barren’s surgery. Now my son is walking, talking, and recovering!
