Room for More

Mustard Seed House Expansion is Underway

Every day, sick and suffering children and their families from across Africa come to us seeking treatment.

By expanding Mustard Seed House, you can meet families in their pain, walk with them through their healthcare struggles, and point them to the eternal hope that only Jesus can provide.

By 2028 demand will be 3× our capacity.

85
Today's Capacity

At the conclusion of Phase 1, we can host 85 patients and caregivers each night.

250
2028 Need

Guests per night needed by 2028 to meet the growing number of patients traveling to Tenwek.

The Gap

By 2028 the demand will be three times the capacity of Mustard Seed House Tenwek.

Why are so many patients coming?

Patients travel from all across Kenya — and all across Africa — to receive treatment at AGC Tenwek Hospital. They come to seek a diagnosis, wait for surgery, or recover close to the hospital. For families who must make multiple visits, sometimes up to six or more, affordable accommodation is not a luxury — it is the difference between completing treatment or going home too soon.

Without resources to pay for lodging, families are often forced to sleep outside hospitals, stay on church floors, rely on strangers, or travel back home before treatment is complete. Mustard Seed House exists to remove that burden — so families can stay together, rest safely, and focus on healing.

The Patients Who Inspire Our Calling

Every year, thousands of patients travel from across Kenya and beyond seeking care. Their stories remind us why we must keep growing.
